You gain strength, experience and confidence by every experience where you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing you think you cannot do. – Eleanor Roosevelt

Was watching "Maid in Manhattan" on Friday when Lionel told Marisa, "To serve people takes dignity and intelligence. But remember, they are only people with money. And although we serve them, we are not their servants. What we do, Miss Ventura, does not define who we are. What defines us is how well we rise after falling."

I particularly like the last 2 sentences "What we do, does not define who we are. What defines us is how well we rise after falling."

Thanks Cindy! Yup the food was awesome! But it's not asian, it's more like kiwi/western food. Over here it's hard to find a good chinese restaurant too but we managed to find our fav Thai, Dim Sum & Indian restaurant which we go pretty often. I planted the pansies (not from seeds) before winter and they are flowers which survive all year round in nz cuz of the mild winter. I never like seasonal flowers. That's why I kept the lavenders cuz they also can last 4 seasons.

Time passes fast and I was trying to erase lots of past pix and came across your birthday info today. Happy Birthday! You guys are still active with gardening, etc. While you are growing the pansies for your Spring, I am growing them for Autumn till late Spring and actually grew them since mid-Summer in the glass house. Now they are producing flowers for Autumn...I grew them from seeds in multi colours. Those food looked yummy - we seldom and almost never eat out because the Asian cooking here are lousy and expensive and I am very fussy about eating out. My hub laid bricks about one inch below the tuft so that when he mows the grass, he can get over them with no problem. Just a tip for your guys about laying bricks along the border but must be one inch or more below the grass level.
